C.P. Goyal

C.P. Goyal, IRS, B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, joined the department at the Group ‘A’ level in 1991 and is presently serving as Principal Commissioner, CBIC. Over his career, he has served in various capacities at Mumbai, Delhi, and other locations, and has been closely associated with the formulation and implementation of policies relating to EOU, EHTP, STP, and SEZ schemes at CBIC for more than ten years.

He also had the distinction of serving in India’s premier intelligence agency, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), for over four years. In recognition of his meritorious service, he was awarded the Presidential Certificate of Appreciation on the occasion of Republic Day, 2008.
